Located in the prestigious Vale do Lobo resort, this championship course comprises 18 holes and is conveniently close to Faro Airport and the lively Vilamoura Marina, reachable within a 15-minute drive.
Undergoing enhancements since its inception, the course now boasts an increased number of bunkers, water hazards, and longer holes. Renowned for its meticulously maintained condition, it hosted the Portuguese Open in 2003, confirming its reputation as a challenging course.
The 16th hole is arguably the course's crown jewel. This world-famous par 3 stretches 224 meters from the back tee, demanding a precise shot to clear three dramatic ravines before reaching the green perched precariously on the cliff edge. It's a hole that will test your nerves and leave you with unforgettable memories.
While green fees tend to be higher for the Algarve region, discounts are available. Twilight and off-peak hours often feature substantial reductions, and bundled packages including golf and accommodations can provide excellent value.
