However, the views are well worth the premium and the facilities are very good. Would suit someone who didn't want to spend all day playing golf, though I heard it can be slow in peak months. Location is easily accessible being in the middle of Albufeira and Vilamoura.

Conveniently located between Vilamoura and Albufeira the course is well positioned and within easy reach for most guests when visiting the Algarve.
The course offers nine holes of enjoyable golf in an environment that cannot fail to appeal. Indeed, if you like to surround yourself in early morning sunshine listening to and watching the local wildlife from the tree tops then this course will appeal to you.
It isn't the longest or most challenging course but it does offer some obstacles along the way. The signature hole is the 6th, a Par 3 spanning 197 meters from the back tee. Aptly named 'The Devil's Parlour', this hole demands a precise strike to carry a deep ravine, a challenge that has claimed its fair share of lost balls. The outlook from this hole is stunning!
Pricing at Pine Cliffs is at the premium end as can be expected from a prestige resort.

Pine Cliffs
This is my regular course which is perfect because I like to play 9 holes once or twice a week. The staff are very nice and always there to greet you with a smile. As for the course, again this is perfect for me, it has some easy holes but also has some challenging ones. The fifth is the longest and currently plays as a par 4, but the length from the top tee could easily make this into a par 5. Getting there early in the morning is delightful, there are many birds on the course.
