“This is an absolute must if you are in the Algarve area. Lovely wide fairways. Super quick and smooth greens. Fairways and t boxes well looked after. Great layout to suit all handicaps. Would recommend to one and all. I’d suggest a golf buggy as there is a lot of walking to be done. Green to tee on some holes felt forever. Friendly staff and well run.
Gramacho Golf Course
Gramacho Golf offers a scenic and strategic round near Carvoeiro, Algarve. This charming town boasts beautiful beaches, while the nearby Ferragudo fishing village adds a touch of local culture. Located west of Faro in central Algarve, the course is easily accessible via the National 125 and A22 routes.
When playing the course you can expect a test of skill on well maintained fairways with undulations, and although water hazards are somewhat limited the natural terrain and strategically placed bunkers demand thoughtful shot selection.
The signature 5th hole, a par 4 with a stroke index of 2, stands out for its dramatic uphill drive with a dogleg left. Precision and distance control are key to navigating this memorable challenge.
Green fees fall within the mid-range for Algarve courses, but twilight discounts and package deals combining golf and accommodation might offer more affordable options. Be sure to check for current pricing and special offers to tailor your experience.

Excellent golf course. A fair challenge whatever your standard of golf, with a variety of picturesque holes, clubhouse does an good selection of food and beverage. Staff are polite, cheerful and very helpfully.

Tough enough and unforgiving in places.
This was the second time we had played here and everyone said that they had enjoyed the course. It is tough enough and unforgiving in places and the greens quite testing.
