Come and play golf at Balaia and you will lose all the formalities of a larger venue. Indeed there are some rules and these should be respected, but what you get here is an informal day out where you can enjoy all of the facilities on offer.

The course is short but plays remarkably well with many obstacles in play, for example:

The first starts from an elevated tee in front of the clubhouse to a small green fronted by water both to the left and to the right.

The second hole requires an uphill tee shot to a green fronted by a large bunker, however you must first negotiate the horizontal line of trees from where you start.

The fourth requires a skilful lofted iron to reach the green, which is fronted by tall trees.

The sixth hole is a downhill chip to a tiny green where anything long will almost guarantee a lost ball, and anything right will be in dense trees.

And the ninth has a tough two tiered green where missed placement on the correct tier will almost certainly cost you a par.

In essence Balaia can be enjoyed on many levels by most golfers. Specifically anyone looking to improve their short game will appreciate it, as will a group or individual looking for a relaxed day out.
